The European e-Skills 2011 Conference is organised by the European Commission Directorate-General Enterprise and Industry, in partnership with DIGITALEUROPE, European Schoolnet and other leading stakeholders. It will outline key milestones and actions that are being taken to deliver e-skills for competitiveness, growth and jobs - in particular for youth in Europe.

The event will take place on 13 December 2011 at Scotland House [MAP] in Brussels. It will draw together experts from governments, academia, the ICT industry, associations, professional bodies and stakeholders. They will discuss progress on the implementation of the EU e-skills strategy and on the preparation of the the European e-Skills Week, due to officially take place from 26-30 March 2012.
